About James

James has been a professional photographer for over twenty years. He's photographed models for magazines and agencies in L.A., N.Y.C., Miami, Paris, Madrid, Lisbon and Athens. Eighteen years ago he returned to San Diego to photograph a friend's wedding. That was the first of over 300 weddings. In James' own words "It is such an incredible day to spend with couples, it's one of the most important (and happiest) days of their lives and they're surrounded by all the people they love. It's an honor and a privilege to share in this day and create lasting memories."

James excels at lighting and portraits, this is a result of his years in fashion photography. Many brides have commented on how beautiful they look in their photos (that they look like models). James' wedding photography is a combination of Fashion and Photojournalistic styles, in both black & white and color. Always included are some traditional posed family portraits.
