TRULY TALENTED PHOTOGRAPHER! As a relatively-young widow and single mother, I was quite apprehensive when my exuberant 19-year old daughter mentioned during her Thanksgiving break from college that she had taken it upon herself to contact a professional photographer (who was referred by a friend and fellow model) and had made arrangements for an all day photo shoot to create her modeling portfolio. Fortunately, the photographer was James Clevenger. James' professionalism, talent, attention to detail and sense of humor instantly made my daughter feel at ease, the result of which are the absolutely amazing photographs James took during the course of the day. In fact, we were so pleased with the photographs and with the professional service James provided, my fiancé and I have since retained James as our sole photographer for our upcoming spring wedding. A special honor indeed! Once again, James will have the opportunity to snap photos of my daughter, except this time it will be as my lovely Maid of Honor. Bravo, James!

I cannot emphasize enough how much James Clevenger ADDED to our wedding experience. Going into my very small family wedding I actually thought that we wouldn't need a professional photographer. I thought that having our family snap a few shots throughout the evening would suffice. It was my husband actually who talked me into hiring James as our professional photographer at the last minute, and now that I have seen all the AMAZING photos from the ceremony and reception I cannot imagine not having had you there to capture it all!!!!! Not only did all of our guests enjoy his warm personality and kind presence, but we now get to completely relive the special event on a daily basis by going through all of our photos again. James captured it all!! Each photo is a perfect time capsule of a sacred moment in our journey. I now have an entire wall in my home beautifully decorated with his photos. I'm incredibly grateful for the love that exudes from him, it shows through in every picture, and the care and attention he put into creating a perfect memory for my family to share and cherish always. I can only shake my head and laugh at my ignorance in originally thinking that we could do without him!! Silly silly me. I would advice all of my friends and family, as well as anyone who reads this to hire James to capture any special occasion. He get two thumbs up from both my husband and me, and all of our guests! I'm slowly going through and emailing individual pictures on to the guests at the reception and across the board they've been saying that they are going to frame the pictures he took of them. Can't wait to have James over again soon to take some outdoor family photos of us with the dogs next.

James photographed our wedding almost ten years ago and people still rave over the photos! He took candid shots as well as staged and caught the true emotions of the guests as well as the wedding party. He did some GORGEOUS black and white photos, one of which I sent out as a holiday card after our wedding. I would recommend James to anyone looking for a photographer for any occasion, but for weddings, he "takes the cake"!!

James Clevenger did our Engagements THE BEST DECISION WE MADE WHEN IT CAME TO WEDDING PLANNING! James was so easy to get along with, and made the photoshoot so much fun! We got approximately 400 AMAZING engagement pictures for the ridiculously low price of $200!!! HIS WORK IS WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT!!
